Round number one of the 2016 WDRL Unique Concrete Pro Mod series started off the season on a wet note.  The original opener was set for May 28 which was socked in by lots and lots of rain.  With race one being rained out, Mission Raceway and the NHRA invited the Pro Mods to be part of the Lordco NHRA B.C. Nationals on June 4th.  Six teams took the time to come back to Mission and get race #1 in the books. The best offer for gamblers 5 deposit bingo. Come on. Increased chance of winning!

Garrett Richards and his screw blown big Ford 2012 Mustang went to the end in the final taking out Joe Delehay, as Delehay lit the Red bulb and fouled out in the semi final.  Richards went on to race Outlaw 10.5 racer Ken Sihota in the final as Shiota found himself with a Bi run all the way into the final by taking out #1 qualifier Paul Glandon in round one.
