Weathers is an anthropomorphic version of Petty’s aerodynamic 1970 Plymouth Superbird, sporting same shade of blue and Petty’s racecar number, 43 and is also a fictionalized version of him. He is one of the racecars in the 2006 Piston Cup three-way tie, along with Chick Hicks and Lightning McQueen. His sponsor , like Petty’s , is a well-known oil company. Hamilton (voiced by British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.) is the personal voice command assistant to Cruz Ramirez that is able to track McQueen’s speed through his electronic suit.
Mia and Tia haven’t missed a race in over a year, but they’d be the first to tell you that they are not race fans, they are Lightning McQueen fans! Painted in his signature red and covered in Lightning stickers, the girls scream like crazy when he poses for photos, and they scream like crazy all the way home just thinking about him. Before landing in Radiator Springs, Doc was a Piston Cup series racecar, when tracks were dirt and cars were tough. His low center of gravity and cornering ability were tough to beat.
Guido and Luigi run Luigi’s Casa Dell Tires, which has a replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa made from tires. Luigi is a big fan of race cars, particularly Ferraris. Guido only speaks in Italian, and can change tires in seconds, wanting to perform a pit stop on Lightning during his time in town. Patty is a silver and brown demolition derby car who competes in Thunder Hollow. She first tried to intimidate Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez before the race along with the other Thunder Hollow Crazy Eight Racers. Patty can be seen spinning out and later gets rammed by Miss Fritter pushing her, Bill and Cigalert .
The Popemobile is only seen at the Italian World Grand Prix Race – he is seen inside a bulletproof “popemobile” for his personal protection. The Popemobile is referred to earlier in the film when Mater asks, “Is the Popemobile Catholic?” He has no lines in the film. Black-hatted priests can be seen next to the Popemobile while he sits in the stands at Porta Corsa for the second race in the World Grand Prix. Small Isetta forklifts, similar to the Guido character, are seen in white cassocks and red hats waving incense into the air.
Some were focused on Disney amusement parks and were sold exclusively there. Some Cars products ended up being sold in fast food meals for children. I have also found that a car can be used in other ways, to hint at elements of character that are still in development as a novel progresses. The true antagonists of The Jealous Kind, however, come from the wealthy side of Houston and drive “long-bodied” pink Caddie convertibles or Austin Healeys.
Unfortunately, lemons Grem and Acer follow him in the bathroom and his plan backfires when they recognize him before Holley can meet him. Rod tries to fight them off, but the two lemons dodge his tactics and severely damage him. Cornered by the villains, he turns his information over to a rusty American tow truck named Mater before being captured.
